The extensive estate of 'Balaclava' is the setting for the hotel - an area of 25 hectares with historic ruins and a variety of plant and animal life all to be discovered on a leisurely walk.
Maritim's coastline is part of the Turtle Bay Marine National Park and provides interesting waters, while the 500 yard-long sandy beach is protected by the reef.
Maritim is 55 minutes from the airport.

221 sea-facing rooms are in the 2 wings stretching from the main building in a slightly elevated position overlooking on the bay.

Lunch: 12.30 pm - 03.30 pm
Dinner: 06.30 pm - 10.00 pm. 5 times weekly different buffets or barbecues. on the other days, table d'hôte menus with several choices for the various courses. Vegetarian meals available.
Mon Désir : Gourmet restaurant : 180 m²
Monday - Saturday, evenings only from 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
A la carte restaurant of the highest standard; international delicacies; air conditioned; 40 covers.
Guests on half-board and all inclusive basis receive a credit or Rs 350 each.
La Marée : Beach restaurant: 265 m²
Seafood specialities and other grillades served in rustic atmosphere. 80 covers.
Open daily for lunch from 12.00 noon to 02.30 pm with a "plat du jour" (daily special) as well as a selection from the grill.
Also opened 6 evenings per week from 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

"Maritim" : 340 m² / max 350 people: a large multi-purpose function room with its own foyer as well as an open-air terrace over-looking the bay. Fully air-conditioned.
Room "Mon Désir" : 180 m² / max 60 people : Fully air-conditioned with a sea view. it is ideal for exclusive 1-day workshop, presentations or smaller seminars. There is a small "upper deck" for coffee/tea breaks.
Room "Arsenal" : 20m² / max 12 people : A small air-conditioned room on the upper floor. Well suited for executive meetings.
