Opened in November 2002, The Links , the second Belle Mare Plage The Resort Championship Golf Course , was designed by Wright and Peter Allis . Sitting beneath the clubhouse which faces the setting sun, this 18-hole course measures 5,927 m and has a par of 71. Equipped with a practice fairway, it is set in a location which seems to have been naturally created for the purpose.

Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course

Designed by Bernhard Langer, the Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course lies on its very own tropical island, located in the lagoon, off the east coast of Mauritius. Fringed by white sands with a backdrop of green mountains, this 18-hole course spreads over 7000 yards/6476 meters, making it the longest course in Mauritius, with holes snaking up and down the length of the island. All holes have views of the ocean, some with glimpses across clearings through the trees, others by coming close to the shore. There are nine lakes, with a number of holes requiring tee shots across sea inlets to the fairways. The water and the expansive bunkers of indigenous white sand set off the natural backdrop of trees and vegetation. Overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, the elegant clubhouse welcomes the golfers and their guests to its restaurant and bar which offers a beautiful view on the course, the ocean and the distant mountains of Mauritius. It also has a professional golf shop, changing rooms, locker rooms and shower. The course has its own David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Facilities include five target greens for practice putting/pitching, a private short game area, computer-aided swing analysis and private classroom.
